AIDA Green Energy Seminar-2026 gears up for Sept-02
The event is expected to bring together around 150 to 200 senior participants through policy sessions, roundtables and industry discussions.
The All India Distillers’ Association (AIDA) has announced of hosting ‘Green Energy Seminar 2026’ on September 2 at Le Méridien, New Delhi, bringing together policymakers, government officials, automakers, state representatives, investors and bioenergy industry leaders to discuss India’s evolving clean mobility and renewable fuel landscape.
Themed “Clean Mobility Pathways for India’s Energy Future,” the seminar comes as India moves beyond its E20 ethanol blending milestone and prepares for the next phase of biofuel adoption. With flex-fuel vehicles beginning to enter the market and interest growing in higher ethanol blends and advanced biofuels, discussions will focus on developing a clear roadmap for the sector.
A key focus will be the integration of bioenergy with India’s broader clean mobility strategy, including the role of flex-fuel vehicles, sustainable aviation fuel and other ethanol-based applications. Feedstock availability and sustainability, state-level bioenergy policies and investment requirements will also feature prominently.
AIDA President Vijendra Singh said, “The task now is to look beyond E20 and build a clear, phased roadmap for higher blends, flex-fuel vehicles and next-generation biofuels. The Green Energy Seminar 2026 is designed to be that platform, where policymakers, OEMs, states and industry sit together and align on the path forward.” He also highlighted the potential of bioenergy to strengthen rural incomes by creating additional markets for agricultural feedstocks.
The event is expected to bring together around 150 to 200 senior participants through policy sessions, roundtables and industry discussions. A dedicated roundtable will bring ministry officials, OEM executives, state government representatives and industry leaders together to examine the practical requirements for scaling clean mobility and bioenergy.
AIDA Vice President Kushal Mittal said greater collaboration between industry, OEMs and investors would be critical to translating emerging opportunities in flex-fuel mobility, sustainable aviation fuel and ethanol-based energy applications into commercially viable projects.
The seminar will also feature the launch of India’s first Biofuel Sustainability White Paper, a dedicated States Bioenergy Session, a session on Women in Bioenergy and Sustainability, and a Live Bioenergy Tech Hub showcasing emerging technologies.
AIDA Deputy Director General Bharati Balaji said the programme has been designed to move beyond discussion and generate actionable outcomes for India’s clean energy transition.
The deliberations are expected to contribute to the country’s post-E20 roadmap, while helping align government policy, technology development, investment and industry priorities for the next phase of India’s bioenergy and clean mobility growth.
