Oswal Energies kicks start Rs 320 cr green hydrogen project; gets 1-MW electrolyser delivery from Greenzo Energy

Oswal Energies Ltd. has announced to have received its first 1 MW electrolyser stack from Greenzo Energy India Ltd. This marks the kickstarting of ₹320 crore green hydrogen initiative of Oswal Energies.
The delivery marks the beginning of a 20 MW Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project designed to produce and supply green hydrogen to the chemical and fertiliser industries. Over the next 12 to 18 months, the project will have the commissioning of hydrogen production units ranging from 0.5 MW to 5 MW in capacity—powered by Greenzo’s indigenously developed electrolyser technology.
Ratan Bokadia, MD, Oswal Energies, said “This delivery is not just about equipment—it’s about setting the foundation for India’s clean energy future. Our collaboration with Greenzo Energy brings together sustainability and self-reliance to offer industries low-carbon energy solutions.”
The collaboration also speaks of growing influence of Greenzo Energy in India’s green hydrogen space. The company, which specialises in high-efficiency electrolysers and integrated hydrogen systems, currently has an order book of over Rs 1,800 crore and caters to clients across India and the Middle East.
Sandeep Agarwal, MD of Greenzo Energy, stated, “Our dispatch to Oswal Energies reflects the strength and momentum of India’s green manufacturing capabilities. We’re committed to supporting India’s energy transition with cost-effective, locally made hydrogen solutions.”
By combining Oswal Energies’ robust EPC expertise with Greenzo’s clean-tech innovations, the project aims to position India as a key player in the global green hydrogen value chain.
