LARS Enviro’s ‘Biogas Project’ gets crowned with IFGE Green Energy Award

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari felicitated Dr. Ramesh Daryapurkar, the CEO of LARS Enviro, for their unique biogas project developed at Saras Dairy in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

LARS Enviro Pvt Ltd. has been conferred upon ‘India Green Energy Award-2023 in the category of “Unique Green Energy Initiative/Project/Technology” by the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE). This was the fourth such edition of the awards by IFGE.

Dr. Ramesh Daryapurkar, the Chief Executive Officer of LARS Enviro, received the award from the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Rameshwar Teli, the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, during the national programme held in New Delhi.

“LARS Enviro gratefully acknowledges the support from IFGE, fellow team members, associates, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and bankers during its journey of achieving various accolades,” said the official statement from the company.

The Saras Dairy Project

Nitin Gadkari felicitated the prestigious award to LARS Enviro for the biogas project that they developed for Saras Dairy in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. The fat-sludge based Thermophilic Biogas Plant was developed for the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).

The socio-economic impact of the project has been immediately felt. The community inhabiting nearby the dairy could feel the change in the environment as the entire waste of the dairy is now managed within the premises. The dairy area has been transformed with the generation of biogas.

LARS Enviro says, “The project contributed and set example in front of all that if the waste can be managed withindairy’s own premises it would lower the burden of local government bodies. LARS strategic vision is to innovate & implement this project in centralized or decentralized way to contribute to the environment.”

LARS Enviro is a Nagpur based company delving into biogas, wastewater & water treatment and waste management.
