Netel India and Organic Recycling Systems (ORSL) Join Forces to Tackle Urban Waste Through Scalable Waste valorisation Projects

In a significant move aimed at addressing India’s growing urban waste crisis, Netel India Limited (a Neterwala Group company) and Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORS) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore joint participation in upcoming solid waste management and waste-to-energy projects. This collaboration will span Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) models, focusing particularly on integrated solutions such as Compressed Biogas (CBG) generation.

The collaboration between Netel India and ORS is designed to facilitate joint participation in forthcoming PPP and EPC projects that include operations and maintenance components. Under this arrangement, ORS will lead the engineering and technical execution, particularly for initiatives centered around organic waste processing and the production of CBG. Netel India will take charge of project financing and oversee segments focused on RDF-to-energy conversion.

In addition to new projects, the alliance will also explore opportunities to enhance Netel’s existing environmental facilities by integrating ORS’s advanced biogas technologies to improve environmental performance and operational efficiency.
