KP Group to develop green hydrogen with key partners

Surat headquartered KP Group has announced that it has signed an agreement with multiple partners to explore opportunities in the green hydrogen sector.
According to a mandatory company filing, the group has entered into a strategic international partnership with South Korea’s Jeonbuk Province to advance the global green hydrogen ecosystem.
As part of the agreement, KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia, a subsidiary of KP Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, along with energy firms GH2 Solar Ltd and AHES Co Ltd.
“This collaboration marks a significant step in fostering international cooperation in clean energy, particularly in the rapidly growing global green hydrogen industry,” KPI Green Energy said.
The agreement will focus on technology exchange in water electrolysis and hydrogen infrastructure. It also paves the way for the joint development of large-scale green hydrogen projects and aims to expand the green hydrogen market in India as well as across international markets, the KP Group added.
