Thermax HydrogenPro Collab to Bring Alkaline Electrolyser to India
Thermax has announced a strategic partnership with HydrogenPro, a green hydrogen technology and systems provider, for alkaline electrolysers.
As per the agreement, Thermax will have exclusive rights in India for the supply, installation, commissioning, and after-sales services of alkaline electrolyser systems based on HydrogenPro’s technology. The arrangement is effective immediately after the agreement and available for deployment in ongoing Indian green hydrogen projects.
Test Station at Pune
Through a comprehensive technology transfer, Thermax will engineer and manufacture key systems and balance-of-plant components of the electrolyser for integration with stacks, the official statement revealed. The firms will collaborate on the joint development of advanced solutions. Initiating this collaboration, a state-of-the-art test station for short stacks is planned at Thermax’s facility in Pune.
Commenting on the partnership, Ashish Bhandari, MD & CEO, Thermax, said, “Our association with HydrogenPro marks an important step in expanding our green hydrogen portfolio. With this collaboration, Thermax intends to offer end-to-end integrated green hydrogen solutions, encompassing the supply of electrolyser systems, turnkey project execution on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, and value-added services, the official statement notes.
