NexGen Energia all set to inaugurate Kushinagar CBG plant in March

Renewable energy firm NexGen Energia has said that it will be inaugurating its Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The company terms it as a major milestone as the CBG project will harness the potential of Napier grass of the region. The grand inauguration is slated for March and it is situated in Padruana town.

This groundbreaking initiative by NexGen Energia seeks to tackle waste management challenges while offering a renewable energy solution that fosters environmental welfare.

NexGen Energia says that the CBG facility is poised to make a substantial impact on reducing the country’s carbon footprint, catering to the escalating energy demands while minimizing environmental repercussions.

Featuring cutting-edge technology and modern infrastructure, the Kushinagar CBG plant has undergone rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures, ensuring consistent production of clean and sustainable energy.

Dr. Piyush Dwivedi, Chairman, NexGen Energia, said, “We are immensely proud to introduce India’s pioneering compressed biogas plant utilizing Napier grass. This initiative perfectly aligns with our commitment to combat the climate crisis and propel India towards a cleaner and greener future.”
