Battery recycler Ardee Industries to launch IPO on Aug-5

Delhi based lead-acid battery recycling firm Ardee Industries Ltd will launch its initial public offering (IPO) on August 5, with the price band fixed at Rs 50-53 per equity share. The anchor investor bidding will open on August 4, while the issue will close on August 7.

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 320 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 1.99 crore equity shares by promoter selling shareholders Sandeep Aggarwal and Nikunj Aggarwal, who will each divest up to 99.88 lakh shares.

Minimum Equity Threshold

Ardee Industries held that investors can bid for a minimum of 281 equity shares and in multiples thereof. The issue is being offered through the book-building process in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations.

Up to 50% of the issue has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), of which up to 60% may be allocated to anchor investors. At least 15% of the issue has been earmarked for non-institutional investors and a minimum of 35% for retail individual investors.

The company’s equity shares are proposed to be listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE, with NSE designated as the lead stock exchange.

Pantomath Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd is the sole book-running lead manager to the issue, while KFin Technologies Ltd is the registrar. Ardee Industries filed its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) with SEBI on July 27, 2026.

Ardee Industries facilities have an installed recycling capacity of 156,950 MT per annum of finished goods, including refined lead and various lead alloys. The company claims that it is one very few companies in India to have its lead ingots brand approved by the London Metal Exchange (LME), reflecting adherence to global benchmarks.
