Gadkari inaugurates 12 TPD CBG plant and R&D facility of Raj Process at Khandala

Raj Clean Energy Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Raj Process Equipments & Systems, marked a proud milestone with the inauguration of its 12 TPD Compressed Biogas Plant at Ahire, Khandala. The plant was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, in the presence of dignitaries, industry leaders, partners, customers and employees.

The newly inaugurated CBG plant of Raj Process is designed to utilize sustainable feedstocks such as Napier grass and pressmud, converting organic resources into clean and renewable energy. This project reflects Raj Group’s strong commitment towards green energy, circular economy, waste-to-energy, rural development, sustainable agriculture, and India’s Net Zero mission.

Along with the CBG plant, Raj Process also inaugurated its new Research & Development facility, which will focus on next-generation technologies including Green Hydrogen, Methane to Hydrogen, Carbon Capture & Utilization, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, wax recovery from pressmud, advanced biofuels, and other sustainable industrial technologies.

Speaking on the occasion, Anilraj Pise, Managing Director, Raj Process, shared Raj Group’s vision to build future-ready indigenous technologies for India and global markets. He also announced Raj Group’s strategic step into the Defence sector, with a focus on advanced clean-energy-based defence applications including Hydrogen Drones. This marks an important new chapter in Raj Group’s journey of innovation, engineering excellence, and nation-building.

The ceremony was honoured by the gracious presence of Shivendrasinh Raje Bhonsle, Jaykumar Gore, Makrand Patil, Ranjeetsinh Naik Nimbalkar, Harshwardhan Patil, Anil Desai, Dhairyashil Kadam, Prabhakar Deshmukh, Rushikesh Dhaygude and Vijayraj Pise along with other dignitaries and guests.

During the inauguration, Raj Process expressed its gratitude to all dignitaries, customers, partners, employees, and well-wishers for their continued support and encouragement. It said that the inauguration of the 12 TPD CBG plant and the advanced Raj Process R&D facility is a significant step towards strengthening India’s clean energy ecosystem and supporting the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, sustainable industrial growth, and indigenous technology development.
