ECOHUB.IN Debuts to Support India’s Next Generation of Sustainability Innovators

Resilience Actions, the social and environmental impact initiative of Re Sustainability, has launched ECOHUB.IN. It is a new incubation platform aimed at accelerating the growth of startups working in climate technology, clean energy, pollution management, resource efficiency, and circular economy solutions across India.

The initiative serves the early-stage sustainability ventures moving from pilot stage to commercial scale by providing access to mentorship, industry networks, and business support.

Focus on Scaling Sustainability Innovation

ECOHUB.IN has been designed for startups that have already moved beyond the ideation phase and possess a working minimum viable product (MVP), a dedicated founding team, and a clearly identified market opportunity.

The incubator aims to address some of the key challenges faced by sustainability-focused enterprises, including limited access to mentorship, funding support, pilot opportunities, industry partnerships, and commercial validation.

As India continues to pursue its low-carbon and circular economy ambitions, demand for innovative solutions that address environmental challenges is growing rapidly. Through the new platform, Re Sustainability aims to bridge the gap between innovation and commercial adoption, helping promising ventures scale their impact and business operations.

Startups selected for the programme will receive technical and business mentoring, investment-readiness support, strategic advisory services, and access to ecosystem partnerships. The incubator will also assist participating companies in refining business models, customer acquisition strategies, pricing structures, impact measurement frameworks, and long-term growth plans.

One of the platform’s distinguishing features is its connection to Re Sustainability’s operational ecosystem. This will allow startups to engage directly with industry experts, test solutions in real-world environments, and explore pathways for commercial deployment and scale.

Masood Mallick, Managing Director and Group CEO, Re (Re Sustainability), said, “India’s sustainability transition will not be driven by infrastructure alone. It will be driven by innovation, entrepreneurship, and the ability to scale ideas that solve real environmental challenges.”

He noted that ECOHUB.IN has been created as a collaborative platform bringing together startups, investors, industry leaders, policymakers, and academic institutions to accelerate the development of commercially viable and environmentally responsible solutions.

Supporting India’s Green Growth Journey

Over the long term, ECOHUB.IN aims to strengthen India’s sustainability innovation landscape by supporting ventures that reduce pollution, improve resource efficiency, promote circularity, create green employment opportunities, and contribute to decarbonisation efforts. The platform is expected to play a role in fostering technologies and business models that support a more resilient and sustainable economy.

Applications for the inaugural cohort are expected to open shortly through the ECOHUB.IN platform.

Re Sustainability, a KKR-backed company, is one of Asia’s leading environmental services providers, with operations spanning waste management, water and wastewater treatment, circular economy solutions, renewable energy, remediation, and sustainability infrastructure across India and international markets.
