Ecoboard Industries secures CBG plant order of 6-TPD capacity

Pune based Ecoboard Industries Ltd has secured a commercial order worth Rs 11 crore from Sudhishiram Renewable Energy Enterprise Private Limited for the execution of a 6-tonne-per-day (TPD) Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant.

The order, received on August 18, 2026, covers the complete project lifecycle, including design, procurement, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning of the facility. The CBG project is scheduled for completion within nine months.

The latest contract strengthens Ecoboard’s position in India’s expanding renewable energy and waste-to-energy market. The company has been developing its presence in the CBG segment through its energy division, EcoYou, which focuses on turnkey engineering and manufacturing solutions for large-scale biogas and CBG facilities.

The new arm of Ecoboard

EcoYou of Ecoboard provides end-to-end capabilities spanning plant design, equipment manufacturing, procurement, supply, installation and commissioning. According to the company, its technology portfolio includes Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR) wet digesters, adapted through Sulzer technology for high-load liquid waste, as well as dry digestion systems designed to process solid organic waste.

The division has installed more than 125 large-scale biogas digester systems worldwide, processing feedstocks including agricultural waste, dairy waste and industrial distillery spent wash.

The new order also follows Ecoboard’s Rs 4.95 crore turnkey contract from Betul Biofuel Private Ltd in April 2026 for engineering and commissioning another 6 TPD CBG facility.

With multiple projects in its pipeline, the latest order highlights growing focus of Ecoboard on CBG infrastructure as India continues to develop its renewable natural gas ecosystem and seek productive uses for organic waste.
