Ecoboard Industries bags 12 TPD CBG plant order

Pune based Ecoboard Industries Ltd has announced to have secured a Rs 20.50 crore domestic order from Sri Balaji Bio Energies and Organics Pvt Ltd to set up a 12 tonnes per day (TPD) compressed biogas (CBG) plant.

Ecoboard said in a stock exchange filing that the order was received on September 3, 2026, in the ordinary course of business. The CBG project is expected to be completed within nine (9) months.

Under the contract, Ecoboard Industries will undertake the complete execution of the CBG facility. The scope includes design and engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning of the plant.

The order strengthens Ecoboard Industries’ presence in the growing waste-to-energy and renewable gas segment, as demand for CBG projects expands amid efforts to promote alternative fuels and convert organic waste into clean energy.

The company clarified that the contract is a domestic assignment and does not involve any promoter or promoter-group interest in the customer entity. It also stated that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction.

The Rs 20.50 crore order adds to Ecoboard Industries’ project portfolio in the renewable energy space and highlights the increasing role of private-sector companies in developing India’s CBG infrastructure.

Last month, the company also bagged a commercial order worth Rs 11 crore from Sudhishiram Renewable Energy Enterprise for the execution of a 6TPD CBG plant.

EcoYou, owned by Ecoboard Industries provides end-to-end capabilities spanning plant design, equipment manufacturing, procurement, supply, installation and commissioning. According to the company, its technology portfolio includes Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR) wet digesters, adapted through Sulzer technology for high-load liquid waste, as well as dry digestion systems designed to process solid organic waste.
