Race Eco Chain to get 51% stake in recycling subsidiary

Ghaziabad based Race Eco Chain Ltd has approved a strategic investment to expand its footprint in the recycling sector. Company’s board of directors have cleared the acquisition of a 51% stake in a newly incorporated subsidiary, Race Grassland Private Ltd.

As per reports, the majority investment will be executed following the formal incorporation of Race Grassland Private Ltd. With a 51% holding, Race Eco Chain will secure a controlling interest in the new entity, enabling it to exercise strategic and operational oversight.

The proposed subsidiary will focus on recycling operations, marking a key step in Race Eco Chain efforts to strengthen its presence in the circular economy space. The move reflects the company’s broader strategy of scaling up through focused subsidiary-led expansion and tapping emerging opportunities in sustainable waste management and recycling.

According to the company, the investment will be made only after all legal and regulatory formalities related to the subsidiary’s incorporation are completed. This phased approach underscores adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory compliance before capital deployment.

The board’s approval signals management’s intent to diversify and deepen operations within the recycling value chain. By establishing a dedicated subsidiary for recycling activities, Race Eco Chain aims to enhance operational focus, improve efficiency, and create long-term value through structured growth in the sustainability-driven segment.
