Hyderabad based plastic recycling pioneers Srichakra Polyplast has announced to have strengthened its recycling capabilities through a partnership with Germany-based Lindner Washtech. Bolstering India’s plastic recycling scenario, Srichakra Polyplast has installed two advanced washing lines designed to process post-consumer recycled (PCR) film and rigid plastic waste.
The move aims to enhance the quality, efficiency, and consistency of recycled plastics amid rising demand for sustainable packaging solutions across industries.
The new washing lines of Srichakra Polyplast are expected to significantly improve the processing of post-consumer plastic waste, enabling higher-quality recycled outputs while increasing operational efficiency. This investment will also ensure a more reliable supply of recycled materials for key sectors such as beverages, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and consumer products.
Srichakra Polyplast claims to have established itself as a key player in India’s recycling ecosystem, working closely with leading brands to convert post-consumer packaging waste into reusable materials. The company is also known for setting up India’s first food-grade rPET recycling facility, demonstrating its commitment to advancing circularity in the plastics value chain.
Ravindra Venkata Paruchuri, Co-founder and MD of Srichakra Polyplast said that the company is focused on building robust infrastructure to support a circular plastics economy. He emphasized that growing demand for recycled materials requires strict standards of quality, traceability, and performance, making advanced technology a critical component of expansion.
Lindner Washtech, part of the Lindner Group, specializes in plastics recycling technologies, including washing and shredding systems. Through this collaboration, it will provide cutting-edge washing solutions aimed at improving material recovery and recycled plastic quality. The partnership combines Srichakra’s recycling expertise with Lindner’s technology to meet increasing market demand for recycled content and align with sustainability goals.
Recently, Austria-based recycling technology leaders Erema GmbH also partnered with Lindner Washtech have expanded their footprint in India. The two have establishmeed a joint subsidiary in the state of Gujarat.
