Tech-driven EV manufacturer Etrio has inaugurated its newest dealership by appointing Egreen Planet Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as its retailer serving Coimbatore and Tiruppur areas. With this new partnership, Etrio is now present across ten cities in seven states in India and covers important commercial hubs like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and now Coimbatore. Etrio plans to expand its reach to 20 cities across 12 states in the current fiscal year.

The Coimbatore area is one of the most industrially developed and commercially vibrant regions in the country with a high concentration of small, medium, and large enterprises in textile, automotive, precision engineering goods, agriculture, and agri-commodities sectors. This partnership between Etrio and Egreen Planet Solutions will provide the opportunity for these industries to benefit from up to 70% lower operating costs by deploying Etrio’s electric 3-wheeler over IC Engine based vehicles and dramatically reduce their carbon footprint, says Etrio.

“We plan to expand our dealership network and increase our presence to over 20 cities in 12 states this fiscal year. We will also be diversifying our product profile to cater to our customers’ needs, these would include products with higher payloads, volumetric capacity, higher range, and other innovations to cater to the ever-evolving needs of our customers”, Korimerla added.

Etrio’s product range encompasses a spectrum of commercial electric vehicles comprising three and four-wheelers catering to payloads between 500 kg to 700 kg.

EGreen looks at building an ecosystem for electric vehicle adoption in Tamil Nadu with its core competence in end EV ecosystem development. Egreen has installed several fast charging stations for 4-wheelers in and around Coimbatore. In March 2023, Egreen installed its first fast DC public charging station in Ooty.

Its portfolio also includes the EV Logistics platform “TransZE – Transportation on Zero Emission”, currently working with 3 EV Wheelers and has plans to expand on all possible commercial EVs. It works with startups, micro, small enterprises, and agripreneurs at an affordable cost.
