Uttar Pradesh Launches New Electric Vehicle Policy

Taking a cue from other states, UP has unveiled its latest Electric Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility policy. Uttar Pradesh is touted as one of the top 5 manufacturing states which has the highest number of MSME units from the automobile industry and ranks third in the number of vehicles registered in India.

The new policy called Uttar Pradesh Electric Vehicles Manufacturing and Mobility Policy 2019,  aims to establish Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for attracting investments in manufacturing of electric vehicles through incentives to buyers as well as manufacturers.
