Pune headquartered clean energy conglomerate & innovator Raj Process Equipment and Systems Pvt. Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of City of Rio Verde, Goiás, Brazil. This strategic collaboration aims to establish Bio-CNG plants and implement Raj Process’s patented Vinasse Drying Technology, marking a significant step towards sustainable energy and environmental innovation in Brazil.
The MoU was inked by Anilraj Pise, Managing Director, Raj Process and Ronaldo Caiado, Governor of Goiás, Brazil. The official statement of Raj Process held that the landmark collaboration will support the deployment of Bio-CNG as a sustainable fuel alternative for 500 city buses in Rivo Verde, Goiás, Brazil.
This partnership between Raj Process and the Brazilian Government to establish a series of Bio-CNG plants across the country is a crucial step in advancing sustainable energy solutions and contributing to Brazil’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
As part of the agreement, Raj Process will introduce its state-of-the-art Vinasse Drying Technology. Vinasse, a byproduct of ethanol production, will be transformed into a potash-rich organic fertilizer through this innovative process. The new organic fertilizer will create a significant revenue stream and contribute to a circular economy model, transforming waste into wealth. This innovative approach will help strengthen Brazil’s sustainability initiatives while promoting eco-friendly agricultural practices.
“We are thrilled to be part of this transformative project that supports cleaner energy, efficient waste management, and economic growth for Brazil and beyond,” said Raj Process.
