Jaipur’s IYSERT, Korea’s HEZ collaborate to develop green hydrogen technology

Jaipur-based IYSERT Energy Research Company, which claims to be world’s largest power solution company, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading Korean technology firm HEZ to collaborate on green hydrogen production for the automotive sector.

“This strategic partnership represents a major step forward in advancing sustainable energy solutions,” said Rakesh Biswas, Chairman of IYSERT Energy Research Company. He said that the green hydrogen technology developed through this collaboration is expected to improve fuel combustion efficiency by 30-40%.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address at the 2nd International Conference on Green Hydrogen, called on the global scientific community to drive policy development in the sector. Modi underscored India’s progress in green energy and reaffirmed the country’s aspiration to become a global leader in green hydrogen production, utilization, and export. Union ministers also highlighted India’s natural strengths in solar energy and its robust power grid infrastructure.

India launched the Green Hydrogen Mission in January 2023 with an aim to position the country as a global hub for green hydrogen production and export. With a budget of Rs 20,000 crore, electrolyzer manufacturing in the country will begin by mid-2026, with green hydrogen production will start by early 2027.

The Green Hydrogen Mission targets a production capacity of 5 million tonnes by 2030.

IYSERT has been manufacturing portable solar technology, vertical axis wind turbines (Micro and solar wind application), and bio waste technology with its best-in-class manufacturing unit facility in Rajasthan. IYSERT has completed more than 500 remarkable successful projects for client like TATA, SHREE CEMENT , INDIAN RAILWAYS., INDIAN ARMY , DRDO ,ISRO , DFC METRO PROJECT , Tourism Department Government of India
