Gulshan Polyols has secured an additional ethanol supply allocation under a tender issued by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) as part of the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme (EBPP) for Ethanol Supply Year 2025–26.
The allocated volume carries an estimated order value of Rs 18.7 crore for the current supply year. The company has been awarded a quantity of 2,923 kilolitres of ethanol for supply during the third quarter of ESY 2025–26 across various locations in the country.
Gulshan Polyols claims to be India’s leading manufacturers of ethanol/Bio-fuel, Grain and Mineral based specialty products for the last three decades. Their business portfolio broadly spans across three main segments, viz. grain processing, bio-fuel / distillery and mineral processing operations that allows the company to produce specialty products such as starch and starch derivatives including sorbitol, calcium carbonate, ethanol (bio-fuel), country liquor, agro based animal feed.
A year ago, Gulshan Polyols secured a contract valued at about Rs 993 crore for the supply of 142,222 kiloliters of ethanol to major oil marketing companies (OMCs) that would include Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).
In June 2024, the company commenced the commercial operations of ethanol at its 250 KLPD capacity grain-based ethanol plant at Goalpara in Assam.
