Eastman Auto introduces light weight PV Inverter solution

 Punjab-headquartered Eastman Auto and Power which specializes in energy storage solutions has now unveiled a ‘Grid Tie Solar PV Inverter’ which it claims to be 40 percent lighter compared to industry standards. The new compact offering has a modular design and the company is claiming it has been developed by using the latest applied scientific automation. According to Harinder Singh, President Sales & Marketing, Eastman Auto and Power, “ With the present government’s thrust on solar, the segment is gaining a larger share in India’s energy basket. We at EAPL have been doing our best to strengthen and upgrade the power back up industry. We are now focusing on advanced, easy to afford and futuristic solar power products to offer more energy efficient choice to our customers.”

The company is further claiming that the light-weight and compact design makes the series suitable for long-distance transportation and favourable for indoor and outdoor installation. Furthermore, the advanced MPPT algorithm gives a peak efficiency of 99.9% and wide MPPT voltage range of 100 to 490Vdc and guarantees maximum power generation in compliance with the IEC standards of safety.

The company which has been in existence for nearly four decades now is known for manufacturing batteries for vehicles, inverters and UPS systems applications as well as E-rickshaw and solar solutions. The company in the last ten years has also developed expertise in providing a comprehensive portfolio of customized packages, solutions and services along the solar PV product line for SOHO, rooftop, and residential applications. Meanwhile, its latest offering, Grid Tie Solar PV inverter, has been introduced in four different models – 1KW, 3KW, 5KW and 10KW. The company says different capacity models are meant to be used by both residential and commercial users. “ The solar powered grid tie PV inverter is perfect to offer power solutions for households & commercial setups. We are confident that our customers will appreciate the product,” Singh added
