Farmwatt Innovations hosts workshop on agriwaste residue management among youth & farmers

In a definite move to step-up efforts towards sustainability & environment friendly energy development, Farmwatt Innovations organized an educational workshop for students and farmers of villages in the Kaushambi district in Prayagraj Division. The extensive workshop was organised on agri-waste residue management, particularly focusing on the collection and utilization of paddy straw.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of stubble burning and promote sustainable practices by converting agricultural residues into valuable resources.

Farmwatt Innovations showcased its advanced technologies used in the collection and processing of agriwaste, including high-end tractors, balers, slashers, rakers, and drones for live monitoring of harvesting, baling, and preventing stubble burning. These modern methods ensure efficient and environment-friendly handling of paddy straw, which is collected, baled, stored, and supplied to biogas plants for conversion into renewable energy.

The district officials also participated in the workshop to garner success among the community. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and Circle Officer (CO) of the Chail Tehsil of Kaushambi, provided valuable insights to students and farmers on the detrimental effects of stubble burning on the environment and the benefits of sustainable practices.

Their participation highlighted the importance of collective efforts to combat environmental issues and promote renewable energy initiatives. The workshop concluded with an interactive session where the youth and farming community participated with full vigour. They held that the workshop empowered participants with knowledge and tools to adopt eco-friendly practices, reduce pollution, and contribute to a cleaner and greener future.

Farmwatt Innovations is led by Kumar Neelendu, who is a social entrepreneur who is pioneering the company in the field of environmental and renewable energy, particularly in the agriwaste-to-energy sector.
